I. THINK   /   II. WRITE   /   III. SPEAKDISCOVER THE METHOD ↓

AN ANCIENT DISCIPLINE. A PERSONAL PURPOSE.

Find the words.
Make them matter.

You know what you want to say. Until you try to say it in another language.

The Writer’s League turns that gap into your next lesson. Choose a subject you care about. Write for a few focused minutes. Find what’s missing. Then say it more clearly.

Your life supplies the subject.
The Forum gives your thinking structure.

Ritual and Order are at the heart of The Writer’s League. Make a daily appointment with your learning. Set your timer, follow the exercise, review one gap, and speak your improved answer aloud. A consistent ritual gives learning its place; a clear order gives each session its purpose.

I

Choose your ground.

Football, food, music, work. Start with something you know and actually want to talk about.

II

Build your case.

Use a small toolkit of useful words. Turn a simple statement into a reason, an example, and a point of view.

III

Find your voice.

Spot a gap. Improve a sentence. Speak it aloud. Progress toward answering a challenge in your own words.

YOUR 30-DAY PATH

From first words
to your own argument.

Difficulty grows through the ideas you express.
No word counts. No perfect sentences required.

DAYS 01–07

I.

Find your voice

Introduce yourself. Describe your world. Make your meaning specific.

“I am…” · “I like…” · “I do…”

DAYS 08–14

II.

Build your case

Connect ideas. Give reasons. Tell a story and make a comparison.

“Because…” · “For example…”

DAYS 15–21

III.

Take a position

Name a problem. Suggest a solution. Consider what could happen next.

“I think…” · “If…” · “However…”

DAYS 22–30

IV.

Enter the Forum

Consider the other side. Answer an objection. Present your case.

“That depends…” · “My reason is…”

SAME SUBJECT. STRONGER VOICE.

Watch an idea
take shape.

You don't need a grand opinion to begin.
You just need something to say.

FROM THE FORUM EXERCISE / 01
START WITH A STATEMENT

“I like training with a team.”

ADD A REASON

“I prefer team training because I can practise passing under pressure.”

CONSIDER THE OTHER SIDE

“Training alone helps my technique. But team training helps me make decisions in a match. I need both.”

You write your version in the language you’re learning.

THE CLASSICAL CONNECTION

Before you can persuade,
you must learn to be clear.

In Greek and Roman rhetorical education, students developed their skills through smaller exercises before composing and delivering full practice speeches. This course brings that progression to your language learning.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

A few good questions.

Can I start as a complete beginner?

Yes. Start with individual words, sentence starters, and short statements. Mark the words you don't know and keep moving. You build toward more complex ideas at your own level.

Is this writing, speaking, or debate?

All three work together. You prepare your ideas in writing, improve one useful gap, and speak the result aloud. Later prompts ask you to consider another view and answer an objection. You can practise independently; a live opponent is not required.

How much time do I need?

Start with 5–7 minutes a day and build toward 12–15 minutes. Twenty minutes is the ceiling. There are no minimum word counts.

Does this include private tutoring?

The $67 offer is the 30-day self-guided writing and debate program. Private tutoring and individual marking are not included.
